What we use today

The site currently sets only cookies that are necessary for it to work. There is no advertising, no tracking across other websites, and no analytics at the time of writing.

Cookie Set by Purpose Lasts
woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart WooCommerce Remembers what is in your basket Session
wp_woocommerce_session_* WooCommerce Links your browser to your basket and checkout 2 days
wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_* WordPress Keeps you signed in to your account Session, or 14 days if you choose "remember me"
wp-settings-* WordPress Remembers interface preferences for signed-in users 1 year
Payment provider cookies Our payment provider Fraud prevention and completing your payment, on their pages Set by them

We also store one thing in your browser that is not a cookie. It behaves the same way from your point of view, so it is listed here rather than left out on a technicality:

Stored item Set by Purpose Lasts
gravin-recently-viewed-en, gravin-recently-viewed-ar This site Remembers the last few pieces you looked at, so they can be shown again at the bottom of a product page Until you close the tab

It is session storage, not a cookie: it never leaves your browser, is not sent to us with any request, and disappears when the tab closes. It holds product addresses only — nothing about you.

Why there is no consent banner. Cookies strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for do not require prior consent. A banner asking permission for cookies we cannot switch off would be theatre. If we add analytics or anything non-essential, we will add a genuine consent mechanism that works — one where declining actually prevents the cookie being set.

Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the essential cookies above, the basket and checkout will not work — the site will not be able to remember what you selected.

If this changes

Adding analytics, an embedded map or video, a chat widget, or a marketing pixel changes this page and probably requires consent. Whoever adds it is responsible for updating this page in the same change.

That rule applies to anything stored on your device, not only to cookies — session storage, local storage and the cache API all count. The recently-viewed entry above was added to the site before it was added to this page, which is exactly the gap this paragraph exists to prevent.
